SINGAPORE, June 17, 2025 — Fortune’s 2025 Southeast Asia 500 list, released today, highlights the region’s largest companies, underscoring its role as a global economic driver. Ranked by 2024 fiscal year revenue, the list features 500 firms from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia, collectively generating $1.82 trillion, up from $1.79 trillion in 2023.
Singapore-based Trafigura tops the list for the second year with $243 billion in revenue, followed by Thailand’s PTT and Indonesia’s Pertamina. Singapore’s Wilmar and Olam round out the top five, contributing to the $660 billion generated by the top 10. Singapore-based firms alone accounted for $637 billion, reinforcing the city-state’s business hub status. Indonesia leads with 109 companies, while Vietnam’s presence grew to 76.
“Southeast Asia’s rise as a manufacturing and export hub is undeniable,” said Fortune’s Clay Chandler, citing trade shifts driven by global tariffs.
